Celebrating 40 years in motorsport

I would never have imagined sitting on my, already ‘out classed’ Suzuki X7, with my Dad helping out at Aintree circuit back in 1982,

that I would still be regularly climbing onboard a motorcycle at a race track 40 years later.

To celebrate being on track for 40 years, I’m going to have a ‘tour’. Starting off the season in Dubai, and then riding at Anglesey, Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Dijon, Donington Park, Le Mans, Nurburgring, Oulton Park, Redbullring, Rijeka, Spa Francorchamps, finishing off the year in America, for the 13th race circuit at the Barber Motorsports Park.

40 years – I’ve ridden some great bikes over the years, also some terrible ones…
I’ve raced at some fabulous demanding, yet rewarding race tracks over the years, and some grim ones…
I’ve met some awesome people over the years, who are the backbone of supporting motorsport and helping riders achieve their potential, and some other folk…
I’ve enjoyed lots and lots of worldwide success over the years, won countless races and many championships, and eaten quite a lot of hospital food…
I wouldn’t change a thing!
