I got a phone call from Andrew Widdowson, he races a Kramer Supermono with his son and daughter with the CRMC, in the Supermono GB class. Unforunately Andrew had an accident and was unable to race at the Croft event and asked if I would stand in for him.

It would be the first time I would really get to work my wrist, I’d done a coaching day at Cadwell, the week before, and although it was painful, it did work, and I reckoned I’d be able to get through the weekend.

It was great to be back amongst the Supermono crew and even better to be in a family style environment with Team Widdowson.

The weekend was definitely interesting – my first ride on a Kramer Supermono after wanting to have a run on one for years and years – it really was worth the wait – what a great bike.
